The Wife of the Governor of Ondo State and Founder of Ondo State Summer Tennis Clinic, through which Arabirin Junior Tennis Club was carved out,Chief Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, has celebrated two players who participated and won big at the Under 16 (U16) Chevron Tennis Championship in Lagos.
Three players of Arabirin Junior Tennis club were invited to the tournament, and at the end , Master Gbolahan Olawale emerged the winner for U16 Boys’ competition.
Meanwhile, for the U16 Girls competition, Miss Sarah Adisa of Arabirin Junior Tennis club also emerged as a runner-up.
Expressing her delight about their performances, the First Lady congratulated them, saying, “Yes, he heard me and brought the trophy home”.
Ondo State Summer Tennis Clinic, was initiated by the First Lady to groom future Tennis champions.
