The United States government has donated an 11-meter Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) to Nigeria Navy Special Boat Service.
This is to support the Navy’s rapid response in Nigeria’s territorial waters.

“The U.S. government works closely with all the services of the Nigerian military to provide technical assistance, equipment, and professional exchange and training opportunities.
“As part of our longstanding security partnership, the U.S. government donated an 11-meter Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) to the Nigeria Navy Special Boat Service to support the Navy’s rapid response in Nigeria’s territorial waters.

“Nigeria is an active participant in Obangame Express and Exercise Flintlock, two of the largest multinational annual maritime security exercises in the region that aim to address transnational maritime challenges”_ U.S. Mission Nigeria.
