Akeredolu’s victory ‘ll consolidate projects’ execution – OSACA

Farmers in Ondo state have described the victory of the Ondo state Governor, Arakunri Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, at the Supreme Court as that which will consolidate projects execution in the agricultural sector of the state.

Chatting with a journalist yesterday, Chairman of the Ondo State Agroclimatology Commodity Associations (OSACA), Mr Gbenga Obaweya who expressed joy over the Governor’s victory, said it would enable a smooth continuation of the good work the present administration started.

Obaweya noted particularly, the protection of farmers from the onslaught of the herdsmen and the enforcement of the anti grazing law as well as many others embarked upon in the agricultural sector for successful completion.

He also mentioned that farmers are looking forward for the governor to fulfil his promises on massive rehabilitation of rural roads.

The Vice Chairman, Youths, who is a cocoa farmer, Mr Idowu Oludare, also expressed gladness over the victory, saying that they were in fear when the tussle for second term began, following the number of uncompleted projects on ground.

His words:” It gave us a lot of delight that he came back and we believe he will do more. We congratulate him for the victory in court and believed that the victory would spur him to continue his development strides.

He also congratulated Akeredolu’s cabinet members, particularly his Senior Special Assistant on Agric and Agribusiness, Mr Akin Olotu who oversees the affairs of the agricultural sector in the state.

Also, the OSACA Public Relations Officer, Mr Owolabi Bamidele, while congratulating the Governor, said his victory will complement his good works which was aimed towards the upliftment and development of the Agricultural Sector.
