The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ondo State Congratulates one of its veterans, Mrs Julie Fayeun of the State Ministry of Information, elevated to the position of Permanent Secretary in the Ondo State Civil Service.

NAWOJ notes with delight, that the elevation of Mrs Julie Fayeun is well deserved having pursued her career with high level of Professionalism and dedication to service.

A Statement jointly signed by Ondo NAWOJ Chairperson, Mrs Doris Olumoko and the Association’s Secretary, Mrs Patience Ibe notes, that, the appointment of the new Permanent Secretary is the best way to celebrate today’s International Women’s Day which has as its theme “Women in Leadership, Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world.”

The Statement affirmed the commitment of women in taking up more challenging responsibilities to contribute fully to Nigeria’s National Development.

NAWOJ appreciates the Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for the appointment of Mrs Julie Fayeun as Permanent Secretary, which is a fulfillment of his promise to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ,Ondo State Council.

Like Oliver Twist, the Association looks forward to seeing more women in Ondo State, rise and take up leadership positions.
