The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control NCDC has recorded 917 new cases of COVID-19 infection for January 3rd 2020 in 17 states of the Federation.

The Federal Capital Territory leads with 223 cases followed by Lagos State with 214 cases.

According to the NCDC’s tweet, the total number of confirmed cases in the country is now 90,080, with 75,044 discharged and 1,311 deaths.
