Despite the stringent measures adopted by government of Ekiti State against rapist, many people seems to still find delight in the criminal act.

This is the picture obtainable in Igogo Ekiti, Moba local government as a 52year farmer forcefully had a carnal knowledge of a 13year old girl.

Roundoffnews gathered that the teenager who resides with her grandmother was sent on an errand when she met the farmer who offered her some corn.

On getting home, the little girl went to the man’s house to appreciate the gesture but it turned out the other way round as the man took the advantage to lure the teenager into the criminal act.

The grandmother of the survivor raised an alarm after the girl could not walk properly.

A community chief in the area was later notified from where the security agents were informed.

When contacted, the Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu confirmed the incident saying the man has been arrested and investigation was ongoing.
