…no casualty- Founder, Possibility Church
Due to the uncertainty about the possibility of leftover explosive devices underground where a truck conveying the substance to another state was accidentally detonated yesterday night along Owo road, Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has ordered the people of the state to stay away from the scene in order to avert casualties, as a result of unexpected detonation.
Akeredolu who along his deputy visited the scene at the Possibility Church of God immediately after the airport, described the incident as very unfortunate during the period the state was preparing to prevent the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Briefing journalists at the scene, the state commissioner of police, Undie Adie informed that the detonated explosive was being conveyed to a quarry company outside Ondo state when the truck developed fault and the device exploded accidentally.
He stated that the Managing Director of the said company has been contacted and on his way to Ondo state.
No fewer than 100 buildings in Eleyowo, Ilu-Abo communities, including a boarding school opposite the Possibility Church of God. All buildings in the church were destroyed.
How Coronavirus averts casualties
The Founder of the church, affirmed that when the incident happened, no activity was ongoing in the church due to the ban of large gatherings to prevent coronavirus. According to her, only a few number of people that were affected had been taken to hospital and no live was lost.
Also, the boarding school opposite the Church recorded no casualty as the pupils were on Coronavirus break, but all the buildings and the school buses were destroyed.
