The Ondo state Government is set to inaugurate the second session of the Youth Parliament following the expiration of the first session in 2013.

The event slated for 10am on Wednesday this week will take place at the Ondo state House of Assembly Akure, the state capital.

The Youth Parliament of Ondo state is fashioned towards the composition of its state House of Assembly which is in line with the National Youth Policy (2019) that requires the inauguration of the parliament in order to give the youth who are future leaders the legislative experience and exposure to democratic values and practices.

The inauguration which will feature induction of members who will thereafter sit to perform legislative functions will be addressed by the state government representative and Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Dotun Owanikin Esq.
