A female member of the All Progressives Congress party in Ese-Odo local government area of Ondo State, Mrs. Folawe Sipasi Aluko has emerged as the party candidate for the forthcoming local government election in the area.

According to information from the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Donald Ojogo, APC leaders of Ese-Odo this evening arrived at a historic decision by picking her as their Chairmanship candidate for the forthcoming election.

It would be recalled that a candidate had earlier emerged last week from a primary election conducted by the members of the party in Ese-Odo but was nullified by the state executives.

With the emergence of Mrs Folawe Sipasi, the total number of female contestants under the ruling party increase to two.
