As Nigeria marks her 59th independence anniversary tomorrow, October 1st, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), party in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, has said that the country has come of age.

Speaking on the occasion of the nation’s independence anniversary, Adetimehin commends the founding fathers of the nation for the selfless and worthy sacrifices they made to ensure subsequent generations have a country they could be proud of.

In a statement issued by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaiye, Adetimehin heralds Nigerians for being supportive of the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration, saying it is determined to build on inherited legacies.

He hails the efforts of the administration to rebuild Nigeria, by putting in place institutions and policies that would stand the test of time.

He assured Nigerians that the economic vision and security strategies of the President would soon be applauded by all stakeholders.

Adetimehin said the APC-led government in Ondo State has done so much within 30 months, to justify the confidence of the people.

He acclaims the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for building a solid, and enduring revenue base for the once tagged “Civil Service State.”

“The State will ever be grateful to the present administration for the industrial hub in Ore, besides the unbelievable infrastructural development. The Agricultural and health sectors have better stories to share,” he stressed.

Wishing all the leaders, members of the APC, and indeed, the good people of Ondo State a joyous celebration, Adetimehin urges them to keep faith with the party, assuring that, “APC will not let down the State.”
