The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ondo State has congratulated the Ministerial-Nominee in the State, Senator Tayo Alasoadura, describing the nomination as well-deserved.

This was contained in a statement issued by the association signed by its Chairperson, Doris Olumoko, and Secretary, Patience Ibe.

“The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ondo State, congratulates Senator Tayo Alasoadura on his nomination for ministerial position.

“We note that this is an attestation of your long standing political doggedness and contributions to the development of the sunshine state.

“Ondo NAWOJ believes that this nomination will bring good tidings to the people of ondo state .

“We assure you of our continued support”, the statement reads.

The association therefore appreciated President Buhari for the nomination of about 10 females as Ministers, and appealed for more inctlusion of women in subsequent appointment.
