The Ondo State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) will on Monday ,May 20th,2019 hold a Bi-annual delegate congress.

The Bi-annual congress will be held at the Ondo State Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) press center, Adegbemile in Akure, with a lecture to be delivered by a prominent guest lecturer.

Th state chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria Electoral Committee (SWANECO) in the state said the Bi-annual delegate congress will be rounded off with the election to fill various offices of the association same day.

In a statement signed by SWANECO Chairman, Mr. Festus Oke, the association thanked the aspirants for their patience for the period the process lasted.

“We will also use this medium to thank the President for his unflinching support and understanding throughout the process”, says the statement.
