As today marks World Tuberculosis Day , Ondo State Government is commemorating it with free screening at the Akure City Hall.

According to the information officer of the state Ministry of Health, Mrs. Abooluwa Famakinwa, there will first be a sensitisation Walk from Adegbemile cultural centre to Akure City Hall, starting from 8am.

Treatment for Tuberculosis is therefore free in Government Hospitals across the state.
