At the ongoing sixth triennial delegates conference of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital where about 800 journalists gathered to vote the next president to pilot the affairs of the union for the next three years, the incumbent President, Waheed Odusile has lost to Chris Isoguzo.

Isoguzo polled 346votes to defeat Odusile who polled 329 votes , while Dele Atunbi came third with 101 votes.
