The Ondo state Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has appointed an Acting Chairman following the retirement of it’s Chairman, Comrade Bosede Daramola from the civil service.

The Acting Chairman is Comrade Tayo Ogunleye.
A Statement issued by the State Secretary of NLC, Comrade Adewale Sanusi indicates that leadership of NLC affiliate unions at their SEC meeting today in Akure ratified the appointment of Comrade Ogunleye as the State Acting Chairman.

The statement says until his appointment, Ogunleye was the Vice of Comrade Bosede Daramola who was elected the state NLC chairman seven and half years ago but stepped down last week following her retirement.
