My first text post will be on this ugly attitude rampant in our environment “ENVY”.

Envy is a great disease in one’s life, if anyone possesses the spirit of envy, the individual won’t see any good in other person’s life except striving to pull him down. When you are being envied by family, friends or colleagues, even when you have not achieve in life, maybe through the way people admire you, or how your presence attract attention, the strategy will be to attack you in all aspects. Falsehood will be spread about you, hatred will be developed, there will be evil imaginations towards you from the perpetrator of such evil act which God is against.

But God has a reward for such people in as much as you are on God’s side and you relate with pure and open mind towards people,Romans 2, ” But we are sure that the judgement of God is according to the truth against them which commit such things …”

Col. 3:25 says “But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done : and there is no respect of persons”

Instead of envying your friend, colleague ,or neighbor over a particular and distinctive quality, why can’t you discover yourself and bring out the real man/woman in you? Or exploit and explore that innate virtue that is capable to attract people’s attention to you rather than inviting the wrath of God that is attached to ENVY upon your life? We all have one distinctive quality embedded in us divinely and the onus lies on us not to allow low-self esteem to kill it inside us or the fear of the reaction of people about such. Mind you what somebody says about you doesn’t matter, what matters most is your vision and reason behind your action. Eschew ENVY.
