Hon. (Princess) Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole has continued to demonstrate her commitment to delivering meaningful and lasting impact to the people of Akure North and Akure South Federal Constituency in Ondo State. With a clear vision for progress and inclusive development, the former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ondo State has consistently advocated policies and initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, empowering youths and women, and creating sustainable opportunities for residents across the constituency.
Her passion for grassroots development has remained a central focus of her political vision, as she believes that effective representation must translate into real benefits for the people. According to her supporters, Hon. The Akure Princess is an experienced public servant and grassroots mobilizer with a track record of service in governance. She previously served as a legislator in the Lagos State House of Assembly, where she contributed to legislative processes and supported initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of citizens. Her experience in the Lagos Assembly exposed her to modern legislative practices and strengthened her commitment to people-centered governance.
She later served as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ondo State, where she championed programmes focused on women empowerment, child protection, and social welfare. Through the foundation, she has empowered over 10,000 beneficiaries, including artisans, youths, students, market women, and widows across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State and beyond the region.
