..names new LG Coordinator

The Ondo Youth Alliance for Tinubu (OYAT) has reaffirmed its support for the people-friendly reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing them as strategic programmes and policies designed to improve the living conditions of Nigerians and secure a better future for the masses and generations to come.
In a statement issued by the group and signed by its Director-General, Thalis Olonite Apalowo, OYAT noted that reforms which initially appeared difficult are now beginning to yield positive results across different sectors of the economy.

According to the alliance, there have been noticeable improvements in key economic indicators, including a gradual reduction in inflation, easing food prices and increased foreign direct investments. It also noted that Nigeria’s foreign reserves, which were previously depleted, have now risen to about 40 billion dollars, the highest level recorded in the last two years.

OYAT further pointed out that stability in the education sector has allowed students to complete their academic programmes without disruptions from industrial actions such as strikes by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), while broader economic reforms are gradually positioning the country for sustainable growth.

The alliance urged Nigerians, particularly young people, to remain patient and supportive of the administration, stressing that the long-term benefits of the reforms would positively impact various sectors of the economy and improve the overall well-being of citizens.

Meanwhile, OYAT also announced the appointment of a new Local Government Coordinator for Akure North Local Government Area as part of efforts to strengthen its grassroots mobilization structure ahead of future political engagements. Omojola Femi Michael, the newly appointed coordinator, replaces Temiloluwa Oluwalade following an internal restructuring aimed at improving coordination and ensuring more effective engagement with young people at the grassroots level.

OYAT expressed confidence that the new coordinator would bring renewed energy and commitment to the alliance’s objectives of mobilizing support for President Tinubu’s policies and promoting youth participation in governance.

The alliance reiterated its commitment to sustained grassroots engagement and advocacy for policies that promote youth empowerment, national development, and good governance.
