The Idogun Development Association (IDA) has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his first anniversary as the 7th democratically elected Governor of the state.


Speaking on behalf of the association which is an umbrella body of sons and daughters of Idogun Kingdom in Ose Local Government, home and in diaspora, the IDA Worldwide President, Engr. ’Tunji Ajibolade, commended the governor for what he described as monumental achievements recorded within one year in office, particularly in road rehabilitation and construction across the state.


In a statement issued by the association’s Media Assistant, Mary Agidi, the IDA also expressed appreciation for the governor’s support towards the newly commissioned Digital Resource Centre in Idogun.

According to him, the project was made possible through financial backing from the Ondo State Community and Social Development Agency.


Ajibolade further lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa for sustaining developmental initiatives across various sectors, describing his first year in office as impactful.

He, however, urged the governor to intensify efforts in the coming years to ensure the delivery of enduring legacies.

While thanking the governor for approving a 5-kilometre road project in Idogun, Ose Local Government Area, including the Afo–Idoani Road, the association appealed for swift intervention within the current fiscal year, preferably before the onset of heavy rainfall.
