The Ondo State Scholarship Board has commenced applications for bursary, scholarship awards and financial assistance for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Board, Mrs. Funso Tunji-Omoniyi, eligible students were advised to obtain and complete their application forms through the official website: https://odssb.org.ng�.
According to the statement, all students of Ondo State origin studying in recognised tertiary institutions across the country are eligible to apply, provided they carefully follow the guidelines and select the appropriate category of support.
The bursary scheme is open to Ondo State indigenes in universities, polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of education, schools of nursing and midwifery, as well as colleges of health technology.

For the scholarship award, applicants must be in their second year or above. University students are required to have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 on a 5.0 scale or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, while polytechnic students must possess at least a 3.0 CGPA.
The financial assistance category is designed for medical students of Ondo State origin currently in clinical studies, as well as physically challenged students in tertiary institutions nationwide.
The Board clarified that students in Nigerian Law Schools should not apply, as their details are processed directly through the Council of Legal Education. It also noted that part-time and sandwich students are not eligible, while double registration will lead to automatic disqualification.
The application window opened on February 17 and will close on March 17, 2026.
