Ace journalist, Ayodeji Moradeyo of TVC News, has been honoured with the prestigious Hero’s Magazine Media Man of the Year Award, adding yet another feather to his illustrious career.

The colourful ceremony, held at the International Culture and Events Centre (The Dome) in Akure, drew eminent personalities from across Nigeria. Moradeyo was among nine distinguished Nigerians honoured at the 18th edition of the annual awards.

Chairman of the occasion, former SGF and the Olu of Ilu Abo, Oba Olu Falae, emphasized the importance of recognising individuals who have excelled in their callings.


He lamented the culture of neglecting the contributions of outstanding citizens.

Representing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Fasoranti, congratulated the awardees, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to human capital development and security in Ondo State.


Moradeyo, who began his journalism career in 2003 at Galaxy Television, has since worked with National Mirror, 235Next, Niger Delta Standard, and National Life Newspaper before joining TVC Communications 14 years ago, where he continues to make remarkable contributions.

Publisher of Hero’s Magazine, Sunday Akinbiola, explained that honorees were selected through a rigorous screening and voting process aimed at celebrating excellence, leadership, and service to humanity.

The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye; the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; Ondo State Attorney General, Dr. Kayode Ajulo; MD of Benin Owena River Basin Authority, Dr. Femi Adekanmbi; and Founder of Dorian Home for Charity, Dr. Tolulola Bayode.
