..receives Monarchs’  blessings

The Chairman of the Ondo State council of Obas and the paramount ruler of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo, has declared that monarchs in Ondo state have unanimously endorsed Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as their preferred candidate ahead of the Ondo APC primary election scheduled for April 20, 2024.

Oba Aladetoyinbo made this announcement during a visit by the Governor’s campaign team to his palace in Akure. The monarchs commended the governor for the various development projects undertaken in Akure, the state capital, and across the state during his tenure.

The Olujigba of Ijigba, Oba Luyi Olujimi, offered special prayers for the governor’s success in the primary election.

Subsequently, Governor Aiyedatiwa engaged with APC members in Akure South Local Government at the M.K.O Democracy Park, urging them to support him in the primary election.

Earlier, at another campaign event, the chairman of the council of Obas in Irele Local Government Area and the monarch of Omi Kingdom, Oba Olorunsola Ajiboye, appealed for the construction of rural roads connecting numerous farm settlements in the area. He also called for improved security measures to combat robberies and facilitate the return of banking operations to the region.

At the local government secretariat in Igbekebo, the Kalasue of Apoi land, Oba Professor Sunday Amusehan, along with other local monarchs, offered prayers for the governor’s success in the upcoming primaries.

Governor Aiyedatiwa assured the people of continued development projects under his administration and sought the support of the monarchs in maintaining peace in their domains and backing him in the primary election.
