..it’s to encourage saving culture – Mrs. Akeredolu

It is a moment of harvest for some members of the Foundation for Wives of Ondo State Officials and Female Political Appointees, FOWOSO, as they’ve started receiving credit alerts of their three years savings and acruable interests.

This was as the founder and wife of the immediate late Governor of Ondo State, Chief Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, congratulated beneficiaries who heeded to her advice to save for the future.

Commenting on the disbursement, Mrs. Akeredolu noted that the whole essence of the idea was to promote a saving culture among members, contrary to the insinuations in some quarters that the contribution was for her usage.

“Is a matter of joy that those who heeded my advise to save are smiling to the bank. The alert is like manna falling from heaven”, she asserts.

Some of the FOWOSO members who have been credited appreciated the Founder for her financial management training through FOWOSO savings idea.

Mrs. Margret Akinsuroju said: “Our Mama Ada Oweri 1, thank you for encouraging FOWOSO members, especially me to participate in this FOWOSO contribution. I have collected my money. It went a long way, Mama I appreciate you ma”.

“All thanks to my great darling mother, MAMA FOWOSO for your encouragement towards Fowoso contributions,  by fire by force😀😀😀,  you pushed me and today am saying THANK YOU MA🙏🙏🙏 for encouraging me and now I have received by savings with interest. 
“Mummy thanks in a million ma. I shall forever be grateful onto you for this great opportunity of knowing and moving with you. I can never forget you”, Mrs. Ayanuola reacted.

Also, Mrs Titi Adeyemi, a former Commissioner for Women Affairs: commented: “Your Excellency, I have received my savings this afternoon. It has come in at a time when needed the most.Thank You very much, Ma for encouraging us to save…..Ma, You are indeed a GREAT LEADER. Love You, dearly”.

It would be recalled that in 2021 January, towards the end of late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led first tenure, a few member of FOWOSO who first keyed into the idea got their savings and interests, a gesture that further encouraged more members to participate at the inception of the second term administration.
