The Ondo State Security network agency code named AMOTEKUN, has announced the dismissal of three of its men over unprofessional conducts in the course of duty.

The Corps Commander, Adetunji Adeleye made the pronouncement in Akure, the state capital on Tuesday while parading seven suspects on alleged theft and burglary.

According to the Commander, he said the corps has finally made its decision to dismiss the officers for gross misconduct on duty and they will be punished accordingly .

Adeleye said further that, a Toyota Camry “big daddy ” ashes colour with computer device, phones of different brands were recovered from the suspects around Ilekun, in Oda, area of the state capital.

However, a corps member whose phone was forcefully taken at a gun point testified that, he was wounded with a broken bottle on his head by one of the robbers while dragging his phone with them.

Adeleye therefore urged the people of the state to stop moving alone at night to avert being kidnapped or attacked by the hoodlums.
