Afenifere National Youths Council, the Apex sociocultural youth organization in Yoruba Land in coalition with other Yoruba Youths groups in a Communique dated 22nd March, 2024 endorsed Dr. Isaac Balami for the position of the Labour Party National Chairman.

This is just as the Niger Delta Youth Council has also supported the development .

These were contained in statements signed by both leadership of the groups.

According to the Acting National President of the Afenifere youth group, Mrs. Omolola Johnson and the National Secretary, Pastor Aderounmu which was made available to the media, Dr Balami’s endorsement was expressly approved.

“We are consistently impressed by his exceptional leadership abilities over the years.
“His unwavering commitment and proven track record of success both in business, personal and political engagements made him outstanding.

The coalition stated that he has extensively proven beyond doubt that he is a core party man.

Having observed Dr. Isaac Balami’s dedication to the Labour Party’s mission and shared values, they firmly believe that he is the ideal candidate to steer the labour party’s direction and propel it towards greater achievements.

“It was opined that throughout his involvement in grassroots organizing, policy development, and community engagement efforts, he has consistently exhibited a keen understanding of the needs and aspirations of the electorate and national politics across all divides.

Adding to the aforementioned, the coalition said one of his remarkable attributes is his ability to foster inclusivity, collaboration, and unity among diverse groups.

” He has an innate talent of bringing people together, encouraging constructive dialogue, and finding common ground.

” It is believed that under the leadership of Dr. Isaac Balami, the Labour party, will experience increased enthusiasm, participation, and cohesion among members, leading to tangible positive outcomes in our electoral campaigns.

While engaging the personality of Dr. Isaac Balami, the coalition, also said he has demonstrated exceptional strategic thinking, resourcefulness, and adaptability in navigating the ever-changing political landscape.

In a similar development, the Nigeria Delta Youth Council has also supported the development .

Their endorsement of Balami was contained a letter written to show their utmost support and endorsement for Dr. Isaac Balami as the next national chairman of the Labour Party Youth Council.

” we are confident in our assertion that he is the epitome of a visionary leader.”
