No fewer than 19 members of Christ Apostolic Church Oke Igan, Akure were reportedly abducted yesterday afternoon on their way to Ifon for the funeral ceremonies of the parent of the Church’s organist.

This was made known by some relatives and church members of the victims who said they were majorly choristers.

A member of the church who hails from the area said: “Those who were kidnapped yesterday evening are my Church members from CAC Oke-gan, Akure; while on their way to Ifon to attend a Burial ceremony of the father of the principal Organist”.

They were on their way to Ifon for the burial ceremony of one Pa Akinseli.

A confirmation call and text message was put to the Ondo Police Spokesperson, but no response.
