The National Population Commission, NPC, has issued a disclaimer on the purported recruitment exercise ongoing for census.

In a public notice announcement on its twitter account @natpopcom, the commission warns innocent citizens not to fall prey of scammers who are spreading false information about NPC recruitment.

“The Commission wishes to inform the public that it is not undergoing any recruitment exercise for the Census at the moment. Kindly note that NPC has concluded recruitment of the functionaries for the 2023 Census before the exercise was postponed. “
