Mr Chris Isiguzo has emerged the president of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists, NUJ for a second time.

Mr Isiguzo was returned unopposed at the union’s 7th Triennial Delgates conference in Umuahia, Abia state with delegates from over 32 councils in attendance.

His emergence followed the withdrawal of interest by his only opponent, Comrade Yusuf Idris from Kaduna council as announced by the chairman, credentials committee, Garba Shehu.

Similarly, all officers from the southwest zone of the NUJ returned unopposed.

Meanwhile, voting has commenced into offices in other zones.

Delegates had earlier moved for the dissolution of  the central working committe.
