Ondo NSCDC new State Commandant visits Gov Akeredolu

The Ondo NSCDC State Commandant, Hammed Abodunrin paid a courtesy call to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN on Tuesday 22nd June, 2021.

During his welcome speech Mr Governor emphasized on the need to jointly annex all resources and machineries to combat all forms of criminalities in Ondo State; he charged the NSCDC Commandant to synergize with the Amotekun Corps and other Sister Agencies in the fight against Kidnapping, Banditry, Abduction, Herders and Farmers clashes, Vandalism, Sexual and Gender Based Violence amongst others.

The Command Helmsman in his response appreciated the Governor for the warmth and kind reception which made him already feel at home.


He pledged to work assiduously to ensure the State stays free from any act of breakdown of law and order.


Commandant Hammed said the Command under his watch has mapped out different strategies in forestalling the prevalence of criminalities in Ondo State.

He emphasized on the use of workable security approaches by carrying out continuous sensitization and enlightenment campaign across board in order to enhance personal security as well as the overall Security and Protection of lives and properties of the People in Ondo State.

The Visit was graced with the esteemed presence of the Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Chief of Staff- Olugbenga Ale, the Amotekun Commander, Adetunji Adeleye fisn and a host of others.
