•Says Akeredolu has performed beyond expectations
The Orunja of Odigbo, in Odigbo local government area of Ondo State, Oba Rufus Akinrinmade has said it is not yet the time for the southern senatorial district of the state to produce the governor, starting that Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, must complete his two terms of eight years.
He asked the governorship candidate from the south to wait till the next four years when it will get to the turn of the district.

Oba Akinrinmade said Governor Akeredolu will complete his eight years in office and power will thereafter shift to the south senatorial district of the state.
The monarch spoke in his palace on Friday afternoon while receiving the campaign train of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN. The Osun State Governor, H.E Gboyega Oyetola accompanied Governor Akeredolu to the palace.

The Orunja of Odigbo said he has told Governor Akeredolu not to come to the town for campaign, adding that the people are ready to vote massively for the Governor’s re-election.
He said:”We have asked the Governor not to come here to campaign. We don’t need his campaign before we vote for him. He has performed beyond our expectation. Odigbo local government is the luckiest in the state.
“Anyone that wants to be governor in the southern senatorial district should wait for another four years
“ In 2012 we delivered, in 2016 we delivered. But this time around, we want to surprise the Governor. We will vote enmass for Arakunrin Oluwarotimi.
“If you go to the whole of the 18 local government areas, whatever you find there won’t be up to the flyover he built here. We will forever remain grateful.”

Governor Akeredolu thanked the traditional rulers and assured them of the commitment of his administration to continue to develop the area and the state at large.
