In a tensed Primary election that keeps almost all the residents of Ondo State awake till midnight, the flagbearer for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, eventually emerged.

In a keen contest between the deputy governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi and Eyitayo Jegede, the latter defeated the former with 888 votes.

The October 10 gubernatorial election is now another game between two Senior Advocates of Nigeria, the sitting governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Jegede.

Agboola Ajayi: 657 Votes

Eddy Olafeso: 175 Votes

Bode Ayorinde: 95 Votes

Okunomo: 90 Votes

Boluwaji Kunlere: 33 Votes

Olusola Ebiseni: 29 Votes

Godday Erewa: 14 Votes

EYITAYO JEGEDE: 888 Votes
