The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State under the leadership of Engr. Ade Adetimehin has expressed sadness over the untimely demise of Professor Olu Aboluwoye, of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, AAUA.

In a statement to mourn the deceased issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaiye, Adetimehin described him as a strong supporter of the party, a straightforward and patriotic Nigerian.

“The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo state is deeply shattered by the demise of a pillar of the chapter and University don, Professor Olu Aboluwaye.

“The party Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, laments the passage of a strong and committed leader of the party and unwavering supporter of government, whose interest was to ensure quality service delivery to the people.

“Professor Aboluwoye was a focused, straightforward and exceptionally hardworking man, whose main concern was the wellbeing of the people. He was passionate about his people.

“He was an accomplished academician; a reliable and patriotic Nigerian, who was ever ready to hold on to a position, so long he was convinced of its viability”.

“The party Chairman condoles with the members of the bereaved family, Government and the university community, urging them to be encouraged by the good name he left behind”, the statement reads.
