A Federal High Court Judge in Akure, Ondo state, Justice Abdul Dogo has been abducted by unknown gunmen.

Justice Dogo was kidnapped with his driver at Ibilo/Isua Akoko axis, a border area between Ondo and Edo states, on their way from Abuja to Akure on Tuesday.

The incident was confirmed from staff of the court and two of the lawyers who were in his court for hearing of their cases.

JATS Online News gathered that the kidnappers had contacted family members and officials of the Federal High Court in Akure and Abuja to demand #50million ransome.
