Press Statement 

We wish to draw the attention of the general public, especially parents and guardians that attached are details of the approved sums payable by pupils, per session. This in line with the State Government’s policy of free, qualitative and affordable education for children in public primary and secondary schools.

Against this backdrop, all Head Teachers and Principals of public primary and secondary schools are hereby directed to adhere strictly, to the details contained in the payment table. Similarly, Directors of Education, Zonal Education Officers, Area/Local Education Secretaries are hereby directed to ensure strict compliance.

In the same vein, Parents Teachers’ Assocaitions (PTAs) of all public schools are enjoined to monitor and possibly, report managements of public schools that flout this policy meant to reduce to the bearest minimum, the burden of providing quality education on parents and guardians.
