Residents of Aaye community undergoing registration process

Less than a week that the wife of Ondo State governor, Mrs. Betty-Anyanwu Akeredolu visited Aaye community in Ifedore Local government Area of the state, where she assured the people of the community to bring government’s presence to their doorstep, Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu Foundation, BAAF today stormed the community to commence the registration of the residents.

This was in fulfilment of her promise to support the young Aaye’s Regent, Princess Taiwo Agbona by attracting developmental projects to the community in order to make her reign successful, remarkable and one to reckon with globally.

She had promised her absolute support for the community in order to convince the public that when a woman is at the head of decision making table, things will turn out good.

According to Mrs. Akeredolu, the registration process is a step to transform Aaye for real to enable government plan effectively and efficiently for the socio-economic transformation of the community.

Addressing the people of the community last week, Mrs. Akeredolu had explained that the foundation will register the population of the community and proceed to carry out the Needs Assessment programme of the community through group discussion forum.

According to her, after the needs assessment programme, intervention would follow on the discovered challenges confronting the residents of the community.

Her words: “Transform Aaye for real! Today, May 6, 2019, the #BAAF Team hits the ground running with the registration of ALL residents of Aaye to enable us plan effectively and efficiently for the socio-economic transformation of Aaye in Ifedore Local Government, Ondo State We mean business!
