A Chief Magistrate sitting in Akure, Victoria Bob-Manuel has ordered the remand of five suspects in police custody for alleged involvement in the Idoani Bank robbery attack that claimed seven lives early this month.

According to the charge sheet, six suspects were arraigned on a seven count charge by the Ondo state Police Command, but one was said to still be at large.

The Presiding Magistrate after listening to arguments from both the Prosecuting and Defence Counsels remanded the suspects in prison custody till pending the advice from the office of Director of Public Prosecution.

The case was adjourned till May 2, 2019.
