The management of Rising Stars FC of Akure has announced that screening for new young players for the team will commence on Monday December 3, 2018.

The Team Manager of Rising Stars,Seun Betiku, noted that the players invited for the screening should be between 16 and 19years of age for the week-long programme.

Betiku revealed that the team only required thirty good players from nooks and crannies of the state.

He added that the intending players should also come with their kits.

He also revealed that only about 10 players from last season would be retained, especially those in the stipulated age range.

It would be recalled that Rising Stars in their quest to promote to the Nigeria National League lost the replay of 2017/2018 NLO promotion playoff against Kwara United 2-1 in Abuja.
