The Ondo State House of Assembly, ODHA, Deputy Speaker , Hon Ogundeji Iroju has just been impeached on the account of high-handedness.

The motion for his impeachment was moved by honourable Fatai Olootu from Akoko North-East constituency and supported by honourable Malachi Coker Adeniyi Emmanuel of Ilaje constituency (11).

He was replaced with honourable Bimbo Fajolu of Ile-oluji/Oke-igbo constituency, who was sworn-in immediately.

His offence according to Olootu is ‘being at Loggerhead with the speaker’.
